The Shirley Coat Of Arms was first found in Derbyshire where they held a family seat that can be traced back to ancient Anglo-Saxon times and before the Norman Conquest in 1066. There is no difference between the Shirley Coat of Arms and the Sherley Coat of Arms.

Douglass Sherley - The Kentucky Story TelleDouglass was born in Lousville, Kentucky in 1857 and he died in 1917. He was an author, journalist, and poet. He received little recognition until he started touring with James Whitcomb Riley from 1893 to 1895 and was soon known as The Kentucky Storyteller.
